10 best photos of Jude Bellingham in Birmingham City colors

Some of the best footage from Jude Bellingham’s time at Birmingham City; a good time to reminisce about England’s former blue stars in the FIFA World Cup.

Everything is about Jude Bellingham right now, and rightly so, as the 19-year-old has been one of the best players in England at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. With a goal in the Three Lions’ Group B opener against Iran – his first on the international stage – and a host of dominating displays, the midfielder provided nothing but joy for attentive supporters.

Many will know – perhaps from his frequent public support for the club – that Bellingham started his career at Birmingham City. He joined the academy of the Blues aged seven in 2010, then finally made his senior debut aged just 16, in 2019. Bellingham became the Birmingham’s youngest player and soon after the youngest goalscorer.

He only had one full season in the first team after securing a two-year scholarship with the club in July 2019, but it was a superb season as he featured 41 times in the league and scored four goals . Noticed by some of the best clubs in the world, it is no surprise that he left for Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2020.

Bellingham have joined the German giants in a club record sale, as Blues cut £25m for the transfer. Since his arrival, Bellingham has made a staggering 112 appearances, scoring 19 goals and contributing 21 assists. He is on average involved in a direct goal once every 213 minutes played – impressive considering he plays mainly as a central midfielder, not a striker.

Fast forward to the present, and bellingham is set to start his fifth successive game for England at the World Cup. It’s the biggest yet, as Gareth Southgate’s side take on defending champions France in the quarter-finals. With the match taking place tonight (Saturday 10 December), it’s a good time to reminisce about Bellingham at Birmingham. Here are the 10 best photos of him in a Blues jersey.
