Horrified families shared their experiences of a ‘night of chaos’ after more than 100 revelers descended on an £ 800-a-night Airbnb for an illegal rave in a quiet village.

Police have been called to the luxurious four-bed house in the sleepy village of Bearsted, Kent, after a scuffle broke out during the party.

It is believed that a group of young people hired the party rug for £ 800 a night, which includes a jacuzzi and a movie theater, despite the Airbnb listing saying no parties or events were allowed.

Residents said they heard muffled music from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning and said surrounding roads were blocked by cars from revelers.

The property, which is listed on the vacation rental site, can accommodate up to 10 people, but neighbors have reported hundreds of revelers showing up at the house over the weekend.

Police were reportedly called three times, only arriving after hearing that a fight had broken out at Bearsted’s house near Maidstone.

One resident described the road where the party took place as a “nice quiet, family-friendly street.”

She said KentOnline: ‘Nothing like this ever happens here – it’s unheard of.

“The house is rented on Airbnb, and they advertise it as a maximum of 10 people, so obviously they didn’t know this was going to happen.

“But these people just got down there and kept coming all night.

“It was just muffled music all night long, screaming. It was just awful.

“Our road and another road next to ours was just full of cars and people were going up and down.

“There was a fight that started, there was blood. I don’t know what happened to the poor boy who was on the floor.

Police officers in five police cars accompanied by dogs showed up at the party after hearing about the brawl, according to the neighbor.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: ‘Officers were called at 4:26 a.m. on Saturday May 30 to report unrest at Plantation Lane in Bearsted.

“It is alleged that several people were involved in a fight in front of a property where a party had taken place.

“Officers attended and an investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances and identify the suspects. No injuries were reported.

An Airbnb spokesperson said: “Parties are off on Airbnb and we have suspended this guest. We are also ready to help the police.
