A London-based music experiences company has raised £115m in Series C funding.

Pollen, rebranded as Verve, uses data to develop unique experiences for customers through travel and music providers.

Founded in 2014 by brothers Callum and Liam Negus-Fancey with a strong presence in the United States, it has shown tremendous growth despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

“People want personalized travel experiences built around what they’re passionate about, and Pollen is at the forefront of that demand,” CEO Callum said.

“We use our proprietary data and customer insights to create unique travel experiences with the world’s greatest talents and brands in the best destinations.

“When people look back after 10 years and think of their top five memories, we want them to feel like Pollen was responsible for three of them.”

Its Pollen Presents offering curates experiences for customers in travel and music, while Pollen+ partners with promoters and music festivals to provide customer perks at events.

He’s partnered with some of the world’s biggest music festivals and brands, including We Are FSTVL, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Electric Zoo and Live Nation, and created travel experiences featuring artists like Justin Biber.

The round included Kindred, Lansdowne Partners, Northzone, Sienna Capital, Backed and Molten Ventures.

The company has already raised over $100 million in venture capital funds.
