SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 6 –

Daming Liu from France had an AirBnB at 142 East 33rd Street.

When he went to the airport for a lost bag, his AirBnB host, Michelle Rajacic, he said, searched his luggage and took $20,000 in cash and his vaccination card. He filed a complaint.

On April 6, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Lorna G. Schofield, held a hearing. Inner City Press has it covered.

Lui’s attorney spoke ex parte about the NYPD not accepting the complaint, with his client now in California seeking medical treatment. Judge Schofield has asked him to file any motions by the end of April.

The case is Liu v. Rajacic, et al., 22-cv-379 (Schofield)
