Harley-Davidson and a Van Halen tribute band? Can anything beat that?
Well, personally, I’d rather have Nine Inch Nails come to town and play in a seedy old basement, but I’ll take what I can get.
Next Halen, the Van Halen tribute band, will perform at Wild West Harley-Davidson in Lubbock, located at 5702 58th Street. You’ll “jump” for joy with free cold drinks, food trucks, Kona ice cream, and a mechanical bull riding contest.
Oh yeah, that bullfighting contest? There’s a $250 prize at stake, in case you were wondering. I’m sure you’re thinking “you really got me” once I mention the prize money, huh?
OK OK. I’ll cut it with the Van Halen puns…for now.
You won’t be “dancing all night” with this shindig, since it will last from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oh, oops. I made another Van Halen pun, didn’t I? Man, I’m “on fire”. Alright, I’m done for real now.
