Last week, the Hometown Glory star broke his silence on the cancellations.

Adele said she has the “best fans in the world” and thanked them for their support after they were forced to postpone the series of shows.

“I have the best fans in the world !” tweeted the award-winning singer.

“Your kindness and love tonight is overwhelming! Thank you.”

The source continued: “Adele described the pool as an ‘old bagged pond’ and refused, point blank, to stand in the middle of it.

“The intention was to fill it with water on the tray as it was lifted on a crane-like mechanism, creating the illusion that it was floating on water.”
