Sandgate in Kent has been revealed as the UK destination that Britons are increasingly looking for for summer vacations.

The picturesque village has been named the most trending Airbnb location in the UK, after seeing the biggest increase in the number of Britons seeking stays there through the vacation rentals platform.

The coastal location is full of classic seaside resorts, including songs of fish and chips, a pebble beach, colorful beach huts, and attractions such as Sandgate Castle.

The village also has plenty of pubs and bars if you are looking for classic British fare, while history buffs may want to bring an extra bag for all the knickknacks to buy from local antique shops.

Those who want to do a bit of exploring can find plenty of coastal walks nearby, while Sandgate is also around a 10-minute drive from the popular harbor town of Folkestone.
