Airbnb: the most popular destinations in the United States
Wanderlust is creating some optimism for people who can stay home longer than usual during the pandemic, a recent Airbnb survey shows.
In a survey commissioned by Airbnb last September, 36% of 1,010 people polled in the United States said they dreamed of traveling on a daily basis. Sixty-nine percent of those polled said it elicited positive emotions, according to information sent by Airbnb to Deseret News.
Airbnb recently released its 50 Most Unique Wish Places across the United States. The list includes everything from a stay to Big Idaho Potato Hotel in Boise to a log cabin in Alaska. For Utah, a tree house in Park City was the # 1 dream location.
The house is set in a 200-year-old fir tree, the Deseret News previously reported. Parts of the tree are on display throughout the house, which also has plenty of windows and skylights and a private patio. For more information on the treehouse you can visit @thetreehouseutah on Instagram.

Airbnb also gathered the most booked online experiences in all 50 states in 2020. For Utah, the most popular experience was a chocolate lesson with the owner of an award-winning chocolate factory in Kingston, Jamaica, according to information sent to Deseret News.
