Airbnb’s brand new Paris office is a loft-like space where you feel right at home
In agreement with AirbnbAccording to the adage “Belong Anywhere”, the firm’s new office space in Paris is an airy, loft-like workspace that fosters creativity and working together. Airbnb’s Environments team collaborated with a design company Architecture of STUDIOS to create a space that stimulates collaboration and feels like home.

The new office, designed for 60 employees, uses the traditional mansard roof and atypical corners of the building to establish a variety of spaces that include a foyer, living room, library, kitchen, sit-stand desks, telephone booths. private rooms and a reception lounge. As if that wasn’t reason enough to quit your job and join Airbnb, the office offers its guests and staff an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower and the Opéra Garnier.

A solarium filled with vegetation serves as a transition area between the main entrance and the rest of the office. To help raise the low ceilings and bring more natural light into the space, the architects introduced blanket lighting throughout the office.
Meeting rooms benchmark Airbnb listings around the world, such as China, Tasmania, Morocco, US, and UK. A Moss Wall is a replica of a listing in Moganshan, China, while vintage door panels from an old barn in Normandy reflect a listing in West Hobart, Tasmania. All of these characteristics are filtered through the distinct nonchalance of Paris, its restaurants, hotels, flea markets and bistros.
