Budget supermarket Aldi is ready to spice up all the bank holiday weekend festivities with the launch of its latest exotic spirits. The retailer’s new Dominican Spiced Caribbean Rum is a beautifully balanced drink, characterized by vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and ground ginger.
The Caribbean-inspired flavors are rounded out with hints of butter and oak, followed by hints of black pepper and caramel. It is priced at just £12.99 a bottle and is on sale in Aldi stores now.

Rum, spices and everything good
Ingredients
- 100 ml Dominican spiced Caribbean rum
- 200ml cranberry juice
- 200ml pineapple juice
- Juice of 2 large oranges
- Juice of 2 limes
- 40g pomegranate seeds
Method
- Add the Spiced Caribbean Rum, cranberry and pineapple juice to a pitcher before garnishing with the freshly squeezed orange and lime juice.
- Lightly crush the pomegranate seeds and add them to the mixture along with slices and wedges of fresh orange. Add ice cubes, mix well and serve!
