Amouranth launches first stream since revealing abusive marriage, someone call the cops

The content creator has yet to reappear in public.

Popular content creator Amouranth briefly returned to streaming today for the first time since news of her apparently abusive marriage broke, but was suddenly cut short when someone called the cops. In fact, the stream never started, viewers only being prompted to pause. The reason for the police presence remains unclear, but the streamer has reportedly been in frequent contact with authorities in recent days.

Amouranth opened up about her marriage during a stream on October 16, 2022. The content creator could be seen accepting a phone call from her husband on camera, noting how scared she was of him hurting her dogs . Amouranth later said she “wanted to tell” her followers that she had been married for a while, but noted that her husband had dismissed the idea, saying revealing this information would “destroy the business model”.

This was of course the first time that Amouranth had mentioned a husband, which left many of his followers completely perplexed. While some showed their support for the streamer, many others turned on Amouranth, blaming him for leading them on for months, and even years in some cases. In any case, the response was clearly overwhelming for the content creator who quickly retired from social networks.

The streamer seems to be trying to resolve the various issues with her husband. According to his content manager who goes by TheRealMarzbar on Twitter, Amouranth is currently safe and working to overcome the situation.

“Team members were able to speak to her and she says she is fine,” TheRealMarzbar said. “Police have been in multiple times since 5am yesterday. She says she’s fine so there’s not much they can do. She’s been talking to her husband all day to make things right. TheRealMarzbar said added a link to the How to Help a Friend Who is Being Abused page, hosted on the Office on Women’s Health website, part of the Department of Health and Human Services.
