Backpacker’s Guide to Where to Stay in Prague

Prague is known worldwide as one of the most amazing cities in all of Europe. It is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic and one of the most important cities in European medieval history. For many, the austere buildings and the graceful river that runs through the city make it one of the most romantic places to visit. It is also famous for its beer and it is a city where beer flows like water.

Prague is characterized by Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, and some of its main attractions are Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Jewish Quarter, libraries that look straight out of Harry Potter , and more. Prague is one of the best cities in Europe for backpackers and has a range of excellent hostels. Some hostels are more laid back, while others feel the vibe of Prague as a party destination.
