ELF Youth Hostel is a great choice for backpackers looking for a place to stay in Prague. It is located just a few tram stops from the old city center and only 5 minutes walk from the central bus station.
The hostel has a great vibe and even has a seasonal barbecue three times a week. The hostel offers communal dinner once a week, games on different nights of the week, and pub crawls (the hostel area also has one of the highest bar densities in town). Clock Inn Prague
The Clock Inn is located a short walk from the old town and has a small bar near reception. It’s in a historic building with plenty of space on the top floor.
On the top floor, one will find common rooms ideal for digital nomads or students as well as an excellent roof terrace with superb views of Prague’s Old Town. However, sometimes the entire top floor is rented out for private events and is therefore closed to hostel guests without compensation.
The Clock Inn dorms are very spacious and there are plenty of shared bathrooms on each floor. They also have a selection of private rooms and dorms.
It is also a kind of party hostel. So it’s a good option for those who want to explore the nightlife, but not so much if you’re in the dorms and looking to go to bed early.

For those looking for a more relaxing and quieter stay in Prague, stay at the Sir Toby’s Inn. It is easily accessible by tram from the old town and offers a more relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Prague Czech Inn
Czech hostel is located just outside the old town but is one of the most amazing hostels in the whole city. Czech Inn has a large cellar bar with happy hours as well as a theater stage for live music, shows, and stand-up comedians.
They have very large dorms (including 36-bed cave dorms), private rooms, apartments, premium dorms, mixed dorms, male-only dorms, and female-only dorms.
The common area is also a cafe with a work area where guests can work or relax. The Czech Inn building is remarkable in itself. It is a large and charming old building in Prague with a large basement lined with bricks (with the theatre, the bar and a large dormitory in the basement).
There is a small private kitchen for guests (dorms and premium apartments have their own kitchens).
The staff are very helpful and try to help anyone with planning their stay in Prague or just getting their bearings.
