Benidorm star Hannah Hobley has announced that she has given birth to her first child – a baby girl – two weeks after the due date.

The 34-year-old actress – who is best known for playing Chantelle Garvey in the ITV comedy – took to Instagram on Tuesday to share sweet photos with her new arrival.

Hannah and her partner Nathan Smith revealed that they named their daughter Beatrice Hobley-Smith in the love message.

She said: ‘Please excuse my absence from @benicontv this weekend. This little lady arrived two weeks later than expected, but was definitely worth the wait.

‘@nathrichsmith and I would like to proudly introduce our daughter, Beatrice Hobley-Smith. Born November 5th ❤️ A date we will always remember.

“For those who attended, you will have had your first glimpse of Beatrice last night at Benidorm Palace (virtually).

Hannah is best known for her role in Benidorm, having played the character of Chantelle – also known as Telle.

She appeared on the show from 2007 until her departure in 2009.

Hannah played the daughter of Mick Garvey (Steve Pemberton) and Janice Garvey (Siobhan Finneran).

Benidorm fans were thrilled when Hannah announced her pregnancy via Instagram in August by recreating her classic Chantelle stand up.

The actress wore a pink tracksuit and posed with her hands on her hips and her pregnancy bump front and center.

Hannah captioned the image, “Spot the difference…” and hilariously clarified in a later comment, “Just to clarify, this is NOT a prank.”
