Someone else replied: “Blackpool Pleasure Beach is fantastic and the location is great for a day out with the kids, but I suspect the OP is close to comparing it to Benidorm.”

While another said: “I love it and although I can’t make it to Benidorm we will appreciate what Blackpool has to offer. Try!”

Blackpool was receiving a lot of love, although it was not really comparable to Benidorm.

One person said: ‘Been to Blackpool a few times it’s a good laugh. […] I can’t believe how cheap beer is still […]”.

DO NOT MISS

While another wrote: ‘I have been in Blackpool since I was 14 and Benidorm 18 and to be honest there is only one thing to choose between them and that is the weather . Both have a lot to offer.

The consensus seemed to be that yes, Blackpool is a good alternative to Benidorm.

One poster read: “I would say Blackpool is the closest you will have to the UK to having a similar experience to your vacation in Benidorm.”

Someone else agreed, “I expected the place to be a lot more cheesy than it was, the beach promenade was really cool. Not a lot of drunkards either, but again, it was a Wednesday.

As you would expect, the comparison of Blackpool and Benidorm took the weather into account.

And the UK can’t quite compete with the promise of the Spanish sun.

However, Blackpool seemed to be seen as a fantastic alternative to Benidorm.

Beer is cheap, there are lots of shows and great beaches.

Blackpool’s seafront and promenade, the Golden Mile, have attracted tourists since Victorian times.

The beaches of Blackpool and the surrounding area make the seaside town a fantastic place to spend a summer vacation.

It’s no wonder vacationers love Blackpool.

With its eleven kilometers of sand, Blackpool Beach, on the seafront, is a delight.

And just down the road, the beaches of Lytham St Anne’s are also easily accessible.
