Burnham murder investigation sees Blackpool man arrested

Police say they have arrested a seventh person in connection with the ongoing Burnham murder investigation.

A 28-year-old man from Blackpool has been arrested on suspicion of murder and obstruction of justice – he remains in custody today (Thursday July 1).

The investigation comes after the death of Beau Robinson, 35, following an “altercation” in Burnham, Buckinghamshire on June 20.

Three people from Berkshire have also been arrested by Thames Valley Police in connection with the ongoing investigation – and one – Martin Fleming, 20, from Slough has been charged with murder.

Daniel Hicks, 30, homeless, has also been charged with murder. Both men were remanded in custody and will stand trial on February 7, 2022 at Reading Crown Court.

A 36-year-old man from Slough and a 32-year-old man from Maidenhead were also arrested in connection with the murder investigation, along with a homeless 28-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman from Burnham.

The four people previously arrested have been released under investigation.
