Children’s Discovery Museum hosts Halloween movie in the park

According to a Facebook event hosted by United Way of Kennebec Valley, they’re having a FREE Halloween-themed movie night in the park. The Emerging Leaders Society of Centraide of the Kennebec Valley has partnered with the Children’s Discovery Museum to offer families a FREE family evening.

United Way of Kennebec Valley Movie Night will be held at Mill Park in Augusta on Friday, October 29 starting at dusk, which is approximately 7 p.m. this time of year. The film presented for this event will be Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. There will be snack bags available for purchase at dealerships.

Although the event is 100% free and open to the public, a suggested donation of $ 5 per person is suggested. Much like their previous event, they ask guests to pre-register online, which can be done HERE.

Donations will be accepted and will be used to help Centraide with community projects and 45 local non-profit organizations.
