Coronation Street fans can now spend a night on the cobblestones
CORONATION Street fans can live out their fantasy of being part of the famous cobblestone streets – as the TV opens its doors to two guests for just one night.
Located next to the famous Rovers Return Inn, the temporary Airbnb will be located in the heart of the street.
Guests will participate in a private tour of the set, followed by a fondue dinner while watching classic episodes of Corrie.
The area will include the exteriors of the Coronation Street venues including Preston’s Petals, The Kabin and Fiz and Tyrone’s.
According to the Airbnb list: “Guests can enjoy a spacious lounge to relax in, with bold wallpaper and contemporary yet comfortable furnishings.
“The bedroom also has a dedicated dining area where guests can sit and enjoy a hot pot for tea while watching some of Coronation Street’s most beloved episodes of the past 60 years.”
There are two single beds in the cobblestone-view bedroom, while water and snacks are included.
A temporary bathroom will also be in place a short walk away with a shower, toiletries and towels.
Continuing Drama Head John Whiston said, “What Coronation Street fan hasn’t had a dream where you find yourself transported into the show itself, wandering the homes of your most beloved characters? certainly did.
“This unique stay gives you the chance to do just that, spend the night and wake up right next to the Rovers Return.
“What better way to celebrate Britain’s opening again than your own time on the country’s favorite street.”
Reservations will open at 1 p.m. on May 26, with a single date October 2.
It will be on a first come, first served basis, so you will need to be quick.
