2 arrested after the Plano short-term rental brothel was discovered. Brandy Cliff, 41, was stopped and charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution. An unidentified 22-year-old woman from Hays County was also arrested, but her charges have not been released. The brothel operated from a short-term rental house near Custer and Parker roads. The Plano City Council is set to review its policies regarding AirBnb and VRBO and others at next month’s meeting.

Student shot near Spruce High. The police say On Tuesday afternoon, someone shot a minor in front of H. Grady Spruce High School in southeast Dallas and fled. The student is stable and recovering at a nearby hospital, but police have not identified anyone involved and provided no description of the shooter or his getaway vehicle.

Bodycam Footage Released of Hunt County Cop Shooting. Wolfe City Office. Shaun Lucas was acquitted last week of murder charges relating to the shooting death of a black man named Jonathan Price. A Texas Rangers investigation found that Lucas’ actions were “not objectively reasonable” and prosecutors pursued a murder charge. Hunt County released body camera footage yesterday showing the incident, which Price’s attorneys believe justify a review by the Ministry of Justice.

Lots of speculation about Arlington hosting the World Cup Finals. John Sutcliffe (ESPNFC) claims that FIFA had chosen AT&T Stadium over New York and Los Angeles to host the final matches of the 2026 World Cup. The Dallas Sports Commission said it was “looking forward to hearing from FIFA”. Be hesitantly excited.
