Did you understand the link between Love is Blind and Michigan?

Did you catch up on season 2 of “Love is Blind: After the Altar”?

Otherwise, I will definitely keep spoilers to an absolute minimum. And if so, I highly recommend setting aside a few hours to catch up, because it’s juicy and filled with drama. And if you’ve ever seen any of the episodes of Love is Blind, you know what I mean.

Whether or not you’ve caught up with the show, or whether you watch it or not, I’m here to tell you about a cool Michigan connection.

“Love is Blind: After the Altar” season 2 filming location in Michigan

Allow me to introduce Apple Blossom Resort in New Buffalo, Michigan.

WARNING: Slight spoilers in front

While filming “After the Altar” for Season 2, the cast members wanted to throw a birthday party for Natalie, as it was her 30th birthday. Originally, regular season filming took place in and around the Chicago area, as that is where the cast members were from. But during “After the Altar”, they took a trip to New Buffalo to visit Apple Blossom Resort to gather and party. And I found it on Airbnb and Vrbo.

Apple Blossom Resort is really that; touristic complex. While only a dozen people came to celebrate Natalie’s birthday, the Apple Blossom estate can accommodate up to 48 people. Between the main house, the guest house and the cabin, there is plenty of space to spare. Not to mention all the conveniences…

  • a heated swimming pool
  • 2 hot tubs
  • 2 fireplaces
  • a basketball/tennis court
  • 4 fireplaces

Plus, it’s pet-friendly and event-friendly, meaning you could even host your wedding there!

Check out the photos of this magnificent property in the gallery below. And maybe get a bunch of your best friends together to rent it out? Especially because it can cost between $2,600 and $3,800 a night…you might need all the help you can get to pay for it…

This Eaton Rapids home for sale was built into a barn

Apparently, this house style is an “emerging trend of life”. Even though I’ve never heard of or seen such a thing, that doesn’t mean it’s not the case. Let me walk you through this house inside a barn. Or a “barndominium” or “barndo” as the Zillow List affectionately calls it. It’s literally a living space created inside this giant barn. So you have the best of both worlds; a nice living space and lots of storage space to boot. It is currently for sale in Eaton Rapids. Check it out in the photos below.
