Edinburgh tourists see an ‘orb’ in the vaults on the city’s spookiest ghost tour

Edinburgh tourists think they may have seen an ‘orb’ while in the vaults on the city’s ‘scariest’ ghost tour.

Travel-mad couple Cory and Charlotte Jacobsen were in the capital for a city break when they booked a ghost tour of Auld Reekie and headed to the South Bridge Vaults.

As they made their way through the dark tunnels in the vaults that lie beneath the Old Town, the vlogger couple wondered – is this the scariest ghost tour in town?

The social media clip shared on TikTok documents their journey through the vaults with the tour guide on the historic walk.

They walk through what appears to be a spooky witch’s hall filled with cauldrons and pagan symbolism.

Small stools with red velvet cushions are arranged in a circle around a large altar.

The tourists exclaim in their video, “It was so dark and scary” as the clip shows them going deeper into the dark underground tunnels.

At the end of the video clip, an unidentifiable white object hurtles towards the camera before bouncing off.

Holidaymakers have shared the chilling clip which has been viewed over 1000 times so far, captioned: ‘Was that an orb in the end?’

Last month, Edinburgh ghost hunter Evelyn Hollow claimed Scotland was the most haunted country in the world, with Edinburgh being one of the top places for paranormal activity in the country due to its history horrible.

TV’s Most Haunted Crew once visited the Vaults, but vowed never to return after experiencing spooky and inexplicable activity.
