All musical styles and many countries are represented. More than 100 artists will ensure a good atmosphere. For a daily breakdown, visit the Sziget Festival website. However, the Samsung Colosseum, Freedome, Ticketswap Party Arena and Cirque du Sziget also offer a wide range of possibilities, to name just a few of the more than 30 venues.
Access, parking, travel
You can get to the island on foot, by taxi or even by boat. However, the easiest way to get there is to take the HÉV. From Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport there is a direct connection to the Sziget. If you choose a taxi, there are 4 partners to get on and off the island to the nearest entry point. Official Sziget taxis are Bolt, Főtaxi, City Taxi and 6×6 Taxi. We recommend that you only use these taxis to avoid fraud.
There are only a limited number of parking spaces. You can get to the designated parking lot via the H-bridge. It is possible to arrive by bicycle or scooter, which can be parked in the designated spot. Access is via the K-bridge as usual. However, the main entry point has been moved a bit further. It will also reduce traffic jams in the area and reduce traffic jams on busy days.
You can camp anywhere on the island. Exceptions are venues, the area around the stages and camping, for which a separate ticket is required. There are a variety of enhanced camping services on the island. There are also a number of Airbnb options and hotels.
Reception and services
The biggest transformation and change will be in the hospitality industry. This mainly concerns catering services and the location of food trucks. There will be no scattering of restaurants, but food trucks will be set up at various locations around the island. Each food court will offer meat-heavy, vegetarian, vegan and climate-friendly options. There will also be a zero waste shop at the festival this year, for the first time. Drinks will continue to be served through the backpack system.
On the last note, we share with you a useful tip. The Sziget application, available on all operating systems, will help you find your way around. The schedule board, map and more will help you have the best time at the festival.
