Family escapes fire at Airbnb rental home in Wallingford
SEATTLE – A family safely escaped a fire Thursday morning at an Airbnb rental home in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood.
At around 3:00 a.m., crews responded to a residential fire report near Northeast 44th Street and 5th Avenue Northeast.
When teams arrived, they found most of the fire outside the house, which had spread to the attic.
The fire was quickly put out.

Officials said the house was a rental and was occupied by a family. They left unharmed.
The family told FOX 13 News that they had come from California and arrived home around midnight.
Teams will remain on site to monitor hot spots.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire.
