Fear of Josip Juranovic’s injuries at Celtic as Legia Warsaw boss reveals pre-match sweat
Celtic transfer target Josip Juranovic was injured ahead of his final match for Legia Warsaw.
But the right-back has recovered enough to make it a goal kick before his move to the Scottish Premiership.
The Croatia international led his side 2-1 against Slavia Prague with a stunning strike before the Poles were pushed back by their Czech opponents in the Europa League first leg.
He will give Ange Postecoglou a more experienced option at right-back although Anthony Ralston’s early-season form has been impressive and Juranovic will need to oust him from the Celtic starting XI first.
Legia manager Czesław Michniewicz has revealed that the player was sweating ahead of the game and there is a possibility whether or not he will bow to Legia ahead of his planned move to Glasgow.

“Josip Juranovic will probably say goodbye to us and he did it in the best style possible.
“But during the warm-up he felt his leg was injured and we had to decide if he would even play or not. But he did.
“He said goodbye to the team in the locker room, nothing will change and he will be leaving.
“I don’t want to comment on the financial terms of the transfer because I just don’t know them.
“As far as I know the documents have not yet been signed, Josip Juranovic told me before the game, but I don’t think anything unforeseeable will happen here.
“Like I said, the Jura said goodbye on the pitch, said goodbye in the locker room and the team said goodbye to him. We are prepared that he will not be there for the second leg. “
