Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis to speak about Hurricane Ian relief

MIAMI – Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis plans to speak about assistance for Hurricane Ian victims Friday morning in northern Venice.

The first lady is scheduled to speak at 10:30 a.m. at Tervis Tumbler’s headquarters at 201 Triple Diamond Blvd. She promoted Florida Volunteer Foundationit is The Florida Disaster Funda public-private partnership.

The list of corporate donors included Walmart with a $1.5 million donation and Amazon, Florida Blue and Lennar with $1 million each. She also thanked Tom Brady for helping promote the fund. Josie Tamayo, general manager of Volunteer Florida, is also scheduled to speak.
