Fourteen new artists announced for the Reading Festival lineup
The group Biffy Clyro is one of 14 new artists joining the Reading Festival lineup.
The event, which draws thousands of people to the city each year, will take place on Richfield Avenue over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Tickets sold out in just two days when they were released earlier this year after the event was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
Other artists on the Reading and Leeds 2021 lineup include: Russ Millions, Holly Humberstone, Chaya, Bakar, Blanco and Trillary Banks.
The new additions will join double-decker headliners Liam Gallagher, Disclosure, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Post Malone and Stormzy.
Biffy Clyro is very happy to return to the festival and said: “We are delighted and honored to be headlining Reading & Leeds for the third time. We can’t wait to come out and play for all of you afterwards. such a difficult year. “
However, due to logistics, some artists are no longer able to perform at the festival. This includes: Queens of the Stone Age, Madison Beer, Denzel Curry, Sofi Tukker, Super Whatevr, Wallows, Oliver Tree, Tate McRae, MizorMac, and Nation of Language.
Festival-goers will need to show their Covid-19 status before entering, just like at other recent events.
All ticket holders aged 11 and over will be required to present one of the following:
Proof of complete vaccination – both doses received (the second at least 14 days before the festival)
Proof of a negative NHS side flow test performed prior to travel on the day of arrival at the festival
Evidence of natural immunity based on a positive PCR test within 180 days of the festival (including 10 days of self-isolation after the result).
