Great cafe in Warsaw, Poland

Leaving Warsaw, we stopped at a great cafe called Ministry of Coffee.

Best Coffee Shops Warsaw Poland

To find coffee in cities I don’t know, I start by googling for “third wave” coffee and go from there. This place popped up and was not far from our hotel, but not within walking distance. We decided to stop for coffee and a pastry en route to Warsaw.

It was a cold, dreary day, perfect for coffee.

8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. (every day)

As a general rule, a cafe open until 9:00 p.m. is a warning sign. In my experience, the best cafes usually close at 3-4pm. But it was a great cafe and well worth trying to find a parking space with our oversized Vovlo XC90 (parking can be a challenge in Warsaw even with a small car).

The cafe is located in the Śródmieście district of Warsaw, right next to an imposing Roman Catholic church called Kościół Najświętszego Zbawiciela (Church of the Holy Savior).

I loved how crowded the cafe was and everyone looked so happy (it was a Saturday…). Really, I love the European coffee culture which is only slowly spreading to the United States.

I ordered a flat white with a croissant and my friend had a latte with danish. Yum. The coffee was strong and the milk perfectly mixed. The croissant was flaky and I tried a piece of Danish and thought it was superb.

Coffee and sweets fueled us all afternoon as we traveled to Krakow.

My coffee posts are never meant to be exhaustive, but posts that I hope to build on when I return to a place. I will definitely return to this cafe, but always appreciate your recommendations for other great cafes in Warsaw.
