It turns out that some things are better kept the old way. A test done by a Swedish car magazine found that drivers filled out car dashboard commands much faster and easier than on a touchscreen. The gap was huge. In a 2005 Volvo V70 with physical controls, the driver was able to complete the assigned task sequence in just 10 seconds, much faster than he could on the touchscreens of an MG Marvel R, which took 44.6 seconds . Although touchscreens are beautiful to look at and offer many advanced features, they tend to distract drivers and are more difficult to use without looking.
The Airbnb hosting platform has launched a new tool in North America to prevent people from hosting parties. The system filters customers based on their distance from the listing, whether they are booking a weekend, and the duration of the trip. A similar system has already been tested by the company in Australia since October 2021. And it also seems to work. According to the company, unauthorized parties have decreased by 45% in areas where the system has been deployed. The company recommends the customer to book a private room or a hotel room if his reservation is rejected.

The damning evidence came when a traveler discovered their expensive luggage hadn’t arrived at their destination. His AirTag activated at a transient Florida airport, prompting local authorities to launch an investigation, which ultimately led to the airline worker’s arrest. The airline worker admitted to removing the tracker, but not before he activated it and reported its location.
The new Dodge Charge and Challengers are become electric. The new electric-only models will begin shipping in 2024. Before their gas-powered variants are completely retired, Dodge will make a “last call” to buy them in 2023. This new development has surprised some. Many predicted that the company’s first electric vehicle would be a RAM truck and not a muscle car. The electric RAM truck is still coming; the company is expected to announce more news about its development later this year.
