Here are the companies willing to pay travel expenses for employees who have abortions

Following the announcement that the Supreme Court had overturned Roe v. Wade and Planned parenthoodagainst Caseyseveral large companies have announced that they will cover the travel expenses of employees wishing to have an abortion.

In May, a a draft of the Supreme Court ruling inspired companies to create policies that would help employees get abortions in a state other than their own.

Apple, StarbucksAmazon, Yelp were among the first companies to adopt new policies to support employees and now others are following suit.

Already 10 states have enacted trigger laws preventing people from having abortions, five states are waiting for their bans to take effect, and five more states are likely to ban abortion in some way.

Here are the companies that offer to financially support employees wishing to have an abortion:

Airbnb- provides financial coverage for medical travel expenses.

Amazon – reimburses employee medical travel up to $4,000.

Apple – covers medical expenses for employees seeking medical care outside of their home country.

Bank of America – provides financial coverage for medical travel expenses.

Buzzfeed – provides an allowance for employees to travel outside their home country for medical care.

Citigroup– provides travel benefits for employee medical travel.

Condé Nast – provides financial reimbursement for travel and accommodation expenses to employees who seek medical care outside of their home country.

Dick’s Sportings Goods – reimburses up to $4,000 in travel expenses for employees seeking medical care outside of their home country.

Disney – provides travel benefits to employees who seek medical care in another state.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc.– ensures the reimbursement of medical travel for employees.

Google – offers travel benefits to employees seeking medical care outside of their home state and said employees living in states without access to abortion can request relocation without justification.

JPMorgan Chase & Co- provides financial coverage for medical travel expenses.

Levi Strauss & Co– reimburses travel expenses related to health care.

Lyft– provides coverage for elective abortions and reimburses travel expenses “if an employee must travel more than 100 miles for a network provider”. Also covers legal fees for drivers prosecuted for helping someone access an abortion.

MasterCard– covers medical travel expenses.

Microsoft – provides financial coverage for medical travel expenses.

Netflix – provides medical travel reimbursement coverage for full-time employees and their dependents.

Paramount – pays travel expenses for employees seeking medical care outside of their home country.

You’re here– Expanded their “safety net program” to include travel and accommodation assistance for employees “who may need to seek health services that are not available in their home country.

Instantaneous– provides medical coverage for employees and their dependents and “a travel allowance that includes transportation and accommodation up to $10,000 for an individual seeking these services.”

Starbucks – reimburses employee medical travel.

Uber covers medical travel costs and covers legal costs in cases where drivers are sued for helping someone get an abortion.

Vox Media – provides financial coverage for medical travel expenses.

Warner Bros. Discovery – covers transportation costs for employee medical trips.

Yelp-covers travel expenses for employees and spouses for medical treatment.

Zillow – reimburses employees up to $7,500 to travel significant distances.
