From April to October, Volendam and Zuiderdam offer a series of “Canada & Discovery of New Englandsailings with ports that showcase the region’s delicious seafood, deep maritime history, quintessential charm and natural beauty. 10- and 11-day Volendam cruises add Newfoundlandwhile a 24 day shipment adds Greenland and a circumnavigation of Iceland.

Highlights of the 2024 season:

• A 24 day cruise departing July 27 on Volendam sails round trip from Boston and go around Iceland, enhancing Holland America Line’s homeport initiative that allows customers to see the world from their doorstep, with just a short flight or drive to port. The cruise makes six calls around Icelandwith 10 additional visits in Greenland, Maine and from Canada New Scotland, Labrador and Newfoundland.

• Volendam will sail between Boston and Montreal, Quebec, Canada both summer and fall over a series of seven days”Canada & Discovery of New England” routes with convenient weekend departures. Ports include Bar Harbor, Maineand the Canadian destinations of Quebec, Quebec; Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; and sydney and Halifax, Nova Scotia. (The September 28 departure exchanges Bar Harbor to Rockland, Maine.)

• Zuiderdam will sail for seven days”Canada & Discovery of New England“routes between Boston and Quebec, with departures on weekends and overnight stops at Quebec City at the start or end of the cruise. Ports include Bar Harbor, Charlottetown, sydney and Halifax. (The September 21 departure exchanges Bar Harbor to rock land and does not include Quebec overnight.)

• A seven days”Historical coasts” round trip cruise from Boston aboard Volendam departs July 20 and call the Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine; Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; and Halifax and sydney.

• Volendam offers more “Newfoundland & Discovery of New England“cruises that sail between Boston and Montreal. Ports for the 10 day cruise include Quebec City, Baie-Comeau and Havre-Saint-PierreQuebec; corner stream, Saint Anthony and St. John’s in Newfoundland; Halifax and Portland. The 11-day departure calls at Portland, Saint Jean, corner stream, Charlottetown and of Quebec Saguenay.

• Volendam and Zuiderdam will crisscross the region in the fall so more guests can see the impressive display of changing foliage. Itineraries include a scenic cruise in the Gulf of Saint Laurent and Saguenay Fjord.
