Horrifying video shows moment of mass shooting that killed two miners and injured nine others

Horrifying video shows the moment hundreds of revelers fled the scene of an Airbnb early Sunday morning as shots were fired.

The video, posted online by KDKA editor Ed Thompson, shows the underage revelers in an argument before a man shouts: ‘He’s got a gun, he’s got a gun, get the hell out of here .”

He could be heard urging others to flee the scene as he too descended the stairs of an apartment at the intersection of Suismon Street and Madison Avenue in Pittsburgh‘s North Side around 12:30 p.m., tripping over others, as the unknown shooter began shooting. .

“They’re spinning, oh my god,” the videographer says.

Police said there were more than 200 people inside the Airbnb at the time, many of whom were minors, when several gunmen opened fire, killing two teenagers and injuring eight others. Three are now in critical condition.

Authorities said as many as 50 shots were fired inside the apartment, prompting some participants to jump out of the windows. At least two of those revelers suffered broken bones and lacerations from the jump, according to WTAE.

But officials told a Sunday afternoon news conference they now believe there were a total of 90 shots fired in what Police Chief Scott Schubert described as a “scene very chaotic.”
