Inside the unique Airbnb Deal that promises to transport you to the jungle
I think it’s safe to say that everyone deserves a vacation abroad after a miserable year spent in back-to-back lockdowns, but unfortunately the ongoing restrictions still make traveling abroad difficult.
The traffic light system used to tell us which countries it is safe to travel to is constantly changing, making it difficult for people to book vacations abroad.
But luckily, Kent has a whole range of vacation destinations on our doorstep, including a unique Airbnb jungle cabin that feels millions of miles from the UK.

Jungle Cabin in the hand-built village of Martin Mill near Deal, which is hosted by local John Ward, promises to transport visitors to distant lands with its exotic theme.
According to John, who has lived in the village for 15 years, all visitors say they “feel like they are abroad”.
The unique Airbnb has a comfortable luxury overwater cabin with a hot tub, set in a garden of palm trees, bamboo, tree ferns and other exotic plants to create a jungle feel.
And it’s not just the exterior of the two-level cedar cabin that is sure to grab your attention.
Log beams span the original living room while oak floors contribute to the “back to nature” feel.
Lavish decor, including oversized ornaments and gilded mirrors, add a chic touch to the living space.
An adjacent open kitchen is equipped with everything you might need during your stay, including a breakfast bar, oven, microwave, and butler’s sink set in a wooden butcher’s countertop. oak, which overlooks the jungle garden.
Even the bathroom is a sight to see, with underfloor heating, a large shower, two marble basins and a traditional high-level toilet.
The entire lower level is dedicated to the bedroom, which is described as “a huge piece of English walnut”.
Visitors descend four wooden stairs to find a stunning custom-made super king canopy bed, made from wild mango wood, which sits centrally under a 12-foot ceiling.
A wood-burning stove lends a warm atmosphere to this oak-clad room and a six-foot velvet high-back chair provides a place to relax.
The property also has a hot tub, located between open and covered terraces on different levels, surrounded by tropical plants.
And if you choose to venture beyond the exotic terrains of the Airbnb, Martin Mill also has stunning countryside to offer – with a range of biking and walking trails.
The coastal towns of Deal and St Margaret’s are also just a ten minute drive away.
According to their Airbnb page, John and his wife Jo are avid paddleboarders and are often found in St Margaret’s, where they offer board rentals and paddle lessons.
It appears the unique cabin, located at the back of John’s backyard, has been a hit with visitors so far, averaging five stars on Airbnb.
In fact, many visitors were so impressed that they left rave reviews on the site.
One person commented: “This retreat is the best way to decompress.
