Since Y Combinator was founded by Paul Graham, Jessica Livingston, Robert Tappan Morris and Trevor Blackwell in March 2005, more than 2,000 businesses have been launched from the accelerator. The combined valuation of companies backed by YC was over $ 300 billion in January 2021.
