TMZ.com
Brad Fischettithe last living member of LFO, isn’t going to stop playing one of the band’s hits even though its lyrics refer to the now-canceled Abercrombie & Fitch which was roasted in Netflix’s latest doc… and it’s about to honor his late bandmates.
Brad tells us he’ll continue to perform 1999’s hit “Summer Girls” at his gigs…as you’ll recall, the chorus of the LFO song reads, “I like girls who wear Abercrombie & Fitch …I’d like to take her if I had a wish.”
A&F’s sleazy work behind the scenes was recently revealed by Netflix’s docufilm, ‘White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch’… which features former employees revealing a toxic workplace that highlighted about beautiful, thin, white people as their vision of “All American.”
Brad’s goal in everything he does with the band is to honor his lifelong friends and band members. Devin Lima and Cronin rich.
TMZ broke both stories… the other two LFO members both died of battles with leukemia – Rich Cronin in 2010 and Devin Lima in 2018. Brad, the last remaining member, did his best to keep their memory alive.
Brad is currently on a tour called “POP 2000 TOUR” featuring past blasts like O-Town, Ryan Cabreraand Chris Kirkpatrick by NSYNC. He sees no reason to remove the song from his lineup because of a trademark reference.
