Airbnb is looking for someone to live rent-free for a year and take care of a uniquely restored Sicilian heritage property.

With the new flexibility of living and working remotely, a person will have the option of relocating to Sicily with their family, partner or friend and moving into the historic home.

The picturesque three-story traditional house is located in Sambuca. He made headlines in 2018 when he offered properties for just one euro in a bid to promote cultural heritage, encourage international investment and attract a younger population to restore the village’s once charming animated.

The Sambuca role will last for one year from June 30, with the successful candidate retaining all income from hosting on Airbnb.
