Man lost consciousness in boscombe bar fight

A MAN who lost consciousness during a brawl at a bar in Boscombe was treated in hospital for head injuries.

Dorset Police, who have opened an investigation into the incident – which took place at Mello Mello Bar on Christchurch Road last month – have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with.

A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury.

Officers were present at the time and a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a brawl and released under investigation as investigations continue.

Constable Dave Buchanan of Bournemouth Police Station said: ‘During my investigation I obtained a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak with about this incident.

“We have made a number of inquiries, but so far we have not been able to get in touch with this man.

“Anyone with any information which could help us get in touch with him is urged to call Dorset Police.”

The brawl was initially reported to police at 1:47 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18.
