Water on a mission to end single-use plastic.

Overland Expo is the premier series of events for overlanders, or autonomous travelers in adventure vehicles or motorcycles, offering social events, programs, classes and exhibitors over three days. Overlanders enjoy the trip itself just as much as the destination, with camping, kayaking and other outdoor recreation seen as a key part of the overlanding experience. Unsurprisingly, overlanders are regarded as passionate about the outdoors and stewards of the environment, making the nearly 50,000 people who will gather at the two events a significant audience for Mananalu.s efforts to reduce the consumption of single-use plastics.

WeI am delighted to introduce Mananalu to overlanders across the country, ”said Mananalu CEO David Cuthbert. If anyone understands the importance of preserving our pristine environments, hes the people who explore them with a sense of adventure, but above all: respect. We celebrate the Overland Expo by saying no to single-use plastic. “

Packaged in aluminum, an endlessly recyclable material, Mananalu will be the only water sold on site, resulting in around 24,000 plastic bottles diverted from landfills and our oceans. In addition, Ball Corp., a Mananalu partner, will participate in a joint activation of the brand on site to encourage recycling.

While Overland Expo has historically focused on recycling efforts across events, this new partnership with Mananalu represents an important step towards reducing on-site plastic consumption.

Overland Expo is dedicated to educating and inspiring overlanders, so they can adventure and travel safely and responsibly. This includes limiting the amount of plastic waste that overlanders create on their travels, ”said Lodestone Events Marketing VP Jessica kirchner. ThisThis is why we are so happy to partner with Mananalu. Together, we can further inspire overlanders to explore and protect our natural spaces at the same time. “
