Minnesota’s Largest One-Day Auto Show / Swap Meet Coming in August
47TH ANNUAL PAN TOWNERS CAR SHOW/SWAP MEET
The 47th Annual Pan-Towners & Swap Meet Car Show will be held at the Benton County Fairgrounds at 1410 3rd Avenue South, Sauk Rapids, Minnesota on Sunday, August 21, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be an indoor arena filled with great American classic cars from the 1920s, 30s and 40s.
ADMISSION
Admission to the event is just $7 with children 15 and under admitted free with a paying adult. There will be indoor and outdoor crafts, a used car corral, trade-in vendors and indoor exhibits.
No animals are allowed on the grounds. Other things that are not allowed include:
- No pets
- No bikes
- No Motor-Driven Cycles
- no weapons
- No skateboards
- No rollerblades
NEW FOR 2022
New to the Pan-Towners Car Show/Swap Meet this year include:
- Valve cover strokes: There will be 3 classes in the Valve Cover Races, with trophies awarded to ages 5-12, 13-18, and 19+, which will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be two cash prizes of $100, a car detailing package worth a total of $289 from Tenvoorde Ford and other prizes.
- Tractor for children: This is actually the 2nd year of The Kids Tractor Pull for ages 5-10 and 11-15. This will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Children’s face painting
FUN RUN TOUR SATURDAY AUGUST 20
Don’t forget that kicking off the big event will be a Fun Run Tour from 6-8pm. Everyone is invited to participate. Programming will begin one block west of Mills Fleet Farm on County Road 138 and 33rd Avenue South (west of the new roundabout). The tour departs at 6 p.m. sharp. WANT TO BE IN THE SALON?
All pre-registrations MUST be postmarked by August 12, 2022. Prepaid show vehicles and motorcycles are $10 and increase to $15 after August 12. There is a chance to win two cash prizes of $100, a complete car detailing package from Tenvoorde Ford worth $289, and other prizes for pre-registered vehicles. There will also be a draw at 2 p.m., and you MUST be present to win. The trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m.
