Museum in North Carolina brings the 90s to life | KSNF / KODE

Concord, NC – In tonight’s dose of good news… Everyone loves to feel nostalgic for the decade in which we grew up.

This is certainly true for those of us who grew up in the 90s.

And now, a place in North Carolina can help you do just that.

It’s time to dust off your tracksuits and fanny packs for a step back in time.

“The aesthetics, the scenery was just crazy, and I was like, I have to find out who did this!” Said Brandon Gathers, guest.

What started out as an Airbnb has evolved into a ’90s selfie museum home located in Concord on Wincoff School Rd.

“We have some tips that will make you say, ‘omg omg where did you find this! ”, Says Jessica Jones, owner.

“Fashionable music, Sega Genesis games, Pac-Man. Tupac, Snoop. All the things we grew up to love when we were kids we experience here. »Said Stephon Chaney, guest.

“I wanted to add something shiny and vibrant that no one has ever seen before. You literally have to go out and find an outfit to come here. It’s an experience. Jones said.

“It’s amazing how my mom grew up and the different things she was able to do and the fun she had.” Said Zy’Onni Turner, little guest.

The museum has over 100 places to take photos, with hand-painted murals created by 10 local artists.

“Ours provokes emotion; it makes you feel a certain type of path. Jones said.

“It makes me want to be born then because it’s more fun than when I was born.” Turner said.

“90s house, 90s house ayeee.” The guest said.
