Expanding its franchise program, @properties adds its fourth and largest independent brokerage firm as it expands its Midwestern teams.

Plat Collective, a 10-year-old company led by Mark Nottingham and Rex Fisher, will add 114 agents in two Indianapolis offices to the @properties brand over the next 60 days as it reposition its own development trajectory, the company said. company.

The move is part of @properties’ efforts to grow its national footprint as quickly as possible with the franchise program it announced late last year.

“@Properties’ technology solutions, community and agent-centric culture, and incredible success have made them an ideal choice for us as we reflect on our future,” Nottingham said in a statement, adding that “their technology is better than any we have seen. “

Plat Collective grew up in tandem with Indianapolis, which has seen its population increase by more than 6 percent over the past decade. The company made $ 411 million in sales last year and is on track to record $ 650 million in transactions this year.

The move from Plat Collective to a national company comes as competition in the Indianapolis market intensifies. Compass, a major competitor to @properties that is also aggressively entering new markets, entered Indianapolis last month citing its potential to sell luxury goods.

FC Tucker Co., one of the region’s oldest agencies, was recently sold to Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, and Offerpad, an iBuyer, also planted stakes there.

Fisher said that @properties’ “independent spirit and local focus” was a good fit for Plat Collective “but a life stage ahead of us.”

For @properties, “Plat’s presence in Indianapolis helps strengthen our position as the premier brokerage firm in the Midwest,” said Thad Wong, co-founder and co-CEO.

In the Midwest, the company has franchises in Detroit and LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and recently added Dallas to the fold. He also acquired Suburban Jungle, the New York-based residential janitor who is expected to be a lead generator for his agents.
