Real Housewives Homes I would choose for an Airbnb

Where are my real estate junkies? One thing the real housewives the franchise offers us fabulous homes. Sure, we love lavish holidays, huge baubles, and fancy clothes, but where these folks lay their heads at night has always been intriguing.

Many of our favorite Housewives are tenantswhich brings the shame of the co-stars or sarcastic fans. We have witnessed several moves from one place to another, but other houses have been built from scratch while waiting for the final product. Now is the time to take a collective look at some well-known Bravo properties that would be the best choices to use for a vacation spot.

Villa Rosa / Lisa Vanderpump

by Lisa Vanderpump first season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills found her living in a huge mansion across from her neighbor and co-star Adrienne Maloof. When Lisa and by Ken Todd the kids went to college and moved out of the family home, Lisa and Ken packed up and moved out. Villa Rosa appeared on our screens and at first glance it looked like a magical place to live. I mean, there’s a moat full of attacking swans… Villa Rosa has been purchased by Lisa and Ken in 2011 for almost $12 million – her estimated current value is $20 million. You can contemplate others from the top of the mountain with extraordinary views. Dive into the pool and float your cares on a giant flamingo. And cook your dream meal in a completely redesigned kitchen. There’s lots of glass and lots of class at Villa Rosa, with plenty of storage space. If you lack entertainment, you can always shout”GOODBYE KYLE” at the top of your lungs just for the kicks. I would most definitely rent this sucker if it were available and I recently became a lottery winner.

Bluestone Mansion / Dorinda Medley

If you like the Berkshires then you might like Dorinda Medley’s popular second home, Bluestone Manor. The The Real Housewives of New York alum has showcased his beautiful property several times on RHONY and it served as a filming location for Ultimate Girls’ Trip: Ex-Wives’ Club. The 11,000 square foot Tudor style home was built in 1902 and is reminiscent of the golden age, but I’d probably recommend bringing some sage and trying to ward off any lingering spirits of bitch shame or nasty battles before opting to lease it like a BNB placeholder. That said, who could pass up the possibility of sleeping in the fish room or my favourite, the lower level? Dorinda’s beautiful home offers peaceful scenery and a plethora of half-filled vodka bottles. Would I stay there if the opportunity presented itself? Yes please and thank you. Be prepared to leave your shoes down and do NOT eat in your bed, perish that thought!

Heather Dubrow’s now sold mansion

Prior to Heather Dubrow leaving Real Housewives of Orange Countyher and Terry Dubrow were innovating and building their important “forever home”. But I guess eternity is relative because the the cabin has just been sold for 55 million dollars. The the house had all the amenities and a personal touch you could imagine. For this BNB opportunity, you can bring your family, your spouse’s family, and a family that you completely despise. 22,000 square feet pretty much promises you can hide from anyone you don’t like and if all else fails, lock yourself away in the champagne vault. 14 bathrooms will ensure no one has to wait to use the shower and don’t forget the ocean view. Yes, I would definitely seek this out for a vacation – and I could probably completely move into a room for several months without anyone noticing you’re there.

Sonja Morgan’s townhouse

OK, stick with me on this one. I know The Real Housewives of New York viewers did not see by Sonja Morgan townhouse in the best state it could be. Several times we were treated to scenes with water damage, things breaking and Sonja’s very interesting way of guarding the house. Located on New York’s Upper East Side, the townhouse is in the middle of everything and was most definitely a palace when Sonja and her ex-husband bought it. On the bright side, Sonja remodeled the place during the pandemic and brought the 4,650 square foot home up to current living standards. With that, it definitely goes on list of places to consider as a BNB rental. Do I want wood burning fireplaces in every room and mosaic hardwood floors? Yes yes. Do I want four bedrooms and an outdoor garden with a koi pond? OBVIOUSLY. do i want ice that is not brown? Yes, and I would definitely check to see if this situation had been resolved before placing a deposit.

Kyle Richards’ / 18 Oaks (The Palace of Encino)

Kyle Richards has lived in a few houses since arriving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her portfolio has come a long way, partly thanks to her real estate mogul husband, Mauricio Oumansky. I know a lot of people don’t like Kyle right now, but let’s not blame his house. Kyle and Mo bought the house for around $8.2 million and even though it’s in Encino, it’s still a great candidate for a BNB rental. She has this huge outdoor fountain, and the over 10,000 square feet provide ample space to stretch out and relax. Just be sure to turn off any distracting neon signs before retiring for the evening. The backyard is lavish and the pool is inviting, just try not to knock over expensive trinkets lovingly placed by the morally corrupt Faye Resnick. Mo and Kyle call their home 18 Oaks for the mature trees that dot the property. You could mistake the landscaping for an English countryside, where you can enjoy dinners, hang out and wonder what Lisa Vanderpump done every moment of the day. Kyle’s house is beautiful and definitely a place to spend a week or two away from work.
