A trio of the biggest names in the hospitality industry have broadened their footprint with exciting openings this month – we look back on our top three launches.

Accor expanded its SLS Hotels & Residences brand earlier this month, with the launch of its first hotel in the Middle East. The seventh SLS hotel in the world, SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences is the result of a partnership with World of Wonders Real Estate, which has successfully developed one of the tallest buildings in Dubai. The 75-story structure sits in the downtown district and offers 360-degree views of the city, Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Creek.
At this striking property created in collaboration with architectural firm Aedas, travelers will now be accommodated in 254 rooms designed by Paul Bishop. This accommodation joins 371 residential units, 321 hotel apartments, Ciel Spa and an array of public spaces, all also designed by Bishop Design, including the Sky Lobby on the 71st floor with large S Bar, the lounge on the 75th floor and the venue. Privilege nightlife, the Carna restaurant, Italian restaurant run by women Fi’Iia, EllaMia cafe and 12 chair caviar bar.
DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti
DoubleTree by Hilton’s new property in Rome opened in April in Piazza dell’Esquilino following the renovation of an existing building. The new Hilton Worldwide property was created in partnership with hotel owner Reale Immobili and THDP took charge of the design. This hotel, aimed at both business and leisure travelers, is located in the Rione Monti district, which stretches from Termini Station to Piazza Vittorio.
New DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti comprises 133 rooms, including eight suites, spread over seven floors, as well as a bar and cafeteria with entrance from Piazza Esquilino, a restaurant offering reinterpretations of classic dishes and a rooftop bar with panoramic terrace. Additional facilities include a fitness center and three flexible meeting rooms. The contemporary design combines the colors of Rome with natural exterior elements and vintage Italian charm.
Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South
Another milestone this month was the opening of the first serviced apartment hotel Radisson in Western Europe. The eighth property in operation for Radisson Hotel Group in the Dutch city, the Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South offers a home-away-from-home for families and extended stay guests amid the canals of a leafy neighborhood with a easy access to the city business district.
The pet-friendly aparthotel has 227 suites, divided into eight categories, ranging from 21 to 106 m². All suites have a range of amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, and some have a designer bathtub and private infrared sauna. During their stay, guests can take advantage of the Keuken & Bar restaurant, 24/7 Grab & Go market, a gym, three modern meeting rooms and underground parking, as well as convenient services such as bicycle rental.
