Renforth Drills Victoria West Stripped Nickel / Copper / Cobalt / Zinc Zone on the Surimeau District Property in Northwestern Quebec
Vancouver, British Columbia –News Direct– Renforth Resources Inc.
December 7, 2021 – TheNewswire – Renforth Resources Inc. (CNSX: RFR.CN) (OTC: RFHRF) (FSE: 9RR) (“Renforth” or the “Company”) is pleased to inform shareholders that drilling is in progress. course under a visual surface nickel, copper, cobalt and zinc mineralization previously stripped on our target Victoria West, in our 260 km2 property, contiguous to the Canadian Malartic mine in Malartic, Quebec.
2 of the 3 planned drill holes in the east end terminate at dips of -45 and -60 degrees, visually extending the nickel, copper, cobalt and zinc 100 vertical meters below the stripped area, confirmed by a XRF
3 holes planned at the west end
1 or 2 holes planned in the center under a large intrusive mound
“We took the opportunity to immediately follow through on our successful stripping program at Victoria West with a targeted pre-vacation drilling program in the eastern and western ends of the stripped area at Victoria West. We are drilling two zones that gave the strongest visual mineralization and XRF field results in our previously announced and recently completed pipeline program. It’s always a good day when the drill is running, in this case on one of our metal (nickel and cobalt) and sulphide (copper and zinc) battery targets on our Surimeau district property, pushing forward this project, with critical and strategic minerals, as quickly as possible, ”said Nicole Brewster, President and CEO of Renforth.
Drilling occurs on the east and west ends of the approximately 275 m stripped strike of the 2.2 km mineralized direction that Renforth drilled in the known 5 km direction of the Victoria West target at Surimeau. At each placement, three drill holes are drilled to dig surface mineralization at -45, -60 and -80 degrees dip to test for continuity of down dip mineralization, which, if successful, can extend mineralization up to 120 vertical degrees. meters. Renforth also plans to test the center of the stripped zone, where a secondary intrusive has separated the main shear zone, this will be done with one or two drill holes.
The best visual mineralization has so far been observed in high albitized calcium silicate zones within the ultramafic where frequent fine to coarse streaks, releases and occasionally semi-massive sulphides, including pyrite, pyrrhotite, pentlandite, sphalerite and chalcopyrite. Mineralization in the form of fine to coarse streaks and sulphide nodules was also observed in drill core in narrow graphitic bands at ultramafic-sedimentary contacts.
Current activities in the Surimeau district
The following actions are currently in progress:
1 – The analytical results of the start of the trenching / pipe digging in Victoria West have started to be received, they will be published immediately upon receipt of all results
2 – Renforth contracted an EM / Mag survey to cover the entire 20 km Victoria West / Colony magnetic feature and extend approximately 4 km north of Victoria West to include the Lalonde mineralized target.
3 – Samples of drill core are selected for further analysis to determine how much platinum group element mineralization is present. The only platinum and palladium tests carried out to date were on the first surface prospecting samples taken from the Colonie, LaLonde and Victoria West regions in June 2020 which gave positive analytical results, demonstrating that these metals are present at each location.
Current activities of the Parbec gold deposit
The following actions are currently in progress;
1 – Our sectional deposit model is updated by our geologists with the results of> 15,000 m of drilling carried out earlier this year.
2 – This process highlights additional sampling that needs to be done. As noted previously, it is difficult to visually assess the presence of gold in Parbec drill core, with rare exceptions. This leads to unsampled areas, which we now know need to be sampled based on recent results. We will do the additional sampling as soon as possible. If this sampling gives gold results, it will have a positive impact on our deposit model.
3 – Renforth has initiated discussions with a group of highly recommended consultants to begin the process of performing a structural study at Parbec to learn the controls on the magnetic diorite mineralization at Parbec and the flaring of the diorite in the Pontiac.
Historically, the East Malartic and Barnat deposits, now part of Canadian Malartic and located approximately 6.5 km along the strike on the Cadillac Fault, indicate a close association with magnetic diorite, feldspar porphyries , shear zones and gold trends. Structurally, gold deposits in this environment are controlled by strike-slip faults and shear zones that follow various directions and dips. The mineralized volumes have been described by various authors as diamond lenses not always attached to the main structures, the gold mineralization is poor in sulphides and contained in fracture systems filled with quartz-carbonate.1

Renforth owns 100% of the Surimeau District property of approximately 260 km2, which contains numerous zones of polymetallic and gold mineralization, each with varying levels of exploration, as well as a significant amount of unexplored land. Victoria West was drilled to a length of 2.2 km, in a mineralized structure 5 km long, showing mineralization of nickel, copper, zinc and cobalt, at the western end of a magnetic anomaly of 20 km. The Huston target, on initial recognition, yielded a grab sample grading 1.9% Ni, 1.38% Cu, 1170 ppm Co and 4 g / t Ag. In addition, the Lalonde, Surimau and Colonie targets are all polymetallic mineralized occurrences which, along with various gold showings, constitute the potential zones of this property without NSR.
In addition to the Surimeau District battery metals ownership, Renforth wholly owns the Parbec gold deposit, a surface gold deposit contiguous to the Canadian Malartic mine property in Malartic, Quebec. In 2020/21, Renforth completed 15,569m of drilling that successfully paired some historic holes, filled gaps in the resource model with newly discovered gold mineralization and deeper extensive mineralization. Based on the success of this major drilling program, the Company is considering the Spring 2020 ERM, with a resource estimate of 104,000 ounces of gold indicated at a grade of 1.78 g / t Au and 177,000 ounces. of gold assumed at a grade of 1.78 g / t Au to be obsolete. With the new data acquired, Renforth will undertake to complete the first-ever structural study of mineralization at Parbec, as well as additional total metal analysis work to better contextualize the nugget effect on gold mineralization.
Renforth also owns the Malartic West property, the site of a copper / silver discovery, and Nixon-Bartleman, west of Timmins Ontario, with gold present at surface for a strike length of approximately 500 m.
