Rent breakfast at Tiffany’s Brownstone for your next vacation
There are few party scenes more iconic than the party thrown at Holly Golightlythe apartment of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. After all, Golightly’s outfits may steal the show, but the brownstone at 169 East 71st Street, with its sparse decor that includes a fully stocked bar, Cat, a tub turned into a sofa, and nothing else, is as much a part of Truman Capote’s Upper East Side fantasy like this little black Givenchy dress. Now, the Upper East Side mansion that serves as the film’s backdrop is available on luxury vacation rental site Inspirato.
In reality, there is no Paul Varjak in the hallway, but you have the whole building to yourself. The grand 1910 brownstone has five floors with four bedrooms, a wine cellar with wet bar, library, enclosed greenhouse, terraces and a garden-level patio, all luxuriously appointed in the glamor of old New York .
Inspirato runs the house, so unlike an Airbnb rental, they promise concierge services and a stocked fridge. Plus, the location is just a few blocks from Central Park and, yes, a short walk from the Tiffany Lighthouse on Fifth Avenue, which makes the vacation home both practical and nostalgic.
Inspirato Pass cardholders can stay on site on a monthly plan of $ 2,500, while members of the Inspirato club will have to pay a fee per night in addition to their $ 600 per month membership. Those who want walk slowly with a croissant and a coffee, however, can still do it free.
