Sip ciders and glamp in a huge yurt in an apple orchard outside of Toronto

Imagine this, you and a few of your closest friends are planning a glamorous and peaceful weekend getaway just before the end of summer and you won’t have to travel far to do it. There’s a mind-blowing glamping experience less than three hours east of Toronto and it takes camping fun to another level of luxury.

King’s Mill Cider is known for its family orchard, premium craft ciders and inclusive orchard glamping experience. There are still a few weeks left in summer, so why not grab a few friends and head to 596 Kings Mill Rd in Stirling, Ontario for a weekend of great food, campfire ambiance and ciders.

This glamping experience won’t require you to bring your own tent – everything is provided for you, from sleeping arrangements to your morning breakfast. There are seven spacious yurts to choose from, each equipped with a queen-size bed and a seating area.

Yurts available include Kathmandu yurt, The Boho Yurt, The Thai yurt, The black and white yurt, The yurt of Timbuktuand The Ponder Over Yonder Yurt. They can all be booked through Airbnb.

According to King’s Mill Cider, guests can tour the orchard and cider house, relax in the beautiful gazebo, and end their evening with a warm campfire.

As there is no electricity, guests will be provided with a flashlight and two touch lights on each side of the bed. Extra blankets will also be provided if the night is chilly.

As for food, according to the King’s Mill Cider website, they will be serving wood-fired pizzas and a flight of five ciders to sample. Breakfast will include fresh fruit, croissants, cheese and jam, yogurt and a cup of hot coffee or tea.

Don’t worry, depending on your hygiene needs, there is a washing station, portable potty and outdoor pocket shower.

When you book your stay, the price includes your food and five ciders. There are still dates available for the rest of the month, so if you’re looking for a peaceful, uninterrupted weekend, you know what to do!
