Sterling and Kane lead rout as England claim 4-0 victory in Hungary

ENGLAND has left their grief for Euro 2020 behind and are now heading full steam ahead for Qatar as they rule Hungary out in Budapest.

The pain of the shootout loss to Italy persists, but Gareth Southgate’s men managed to push that disappointment to the bottom to secure a 4-0 victory.

Even though they dominated possession in the first half, nerves could have started creeping into the Three Lions in front of the noisy home crowd as they failed to register a shot on target.

But Raheem Sterling shattered any potential doubts just ten minutes after the restart and England haven’t looked back.

Harry Kane quickly added a header second to double the advantage.

Harry Maguire ensured the match was over in the 69th minute with another shining header.

And after playing Sterling for Game 1, Jack Grealish provided another assist for Declan Rice to come home a late fourth.

The win puts England in control of their World Cup qualifying group as they are five points clear in the lead.
