This remote hideaway is equipped with all the modern luxuries you need to stay comfortable – plus, you can sleep in a real cave! How cool is that?

Set on over 100 acres of secluded desert land, Taylor Mountain Cave Retreat is easily one of Arizona’s most unique Airbnbs.

The cave is located near the remote town of Dolan Springs, over an hour from the nearest major city (Las Vegas). Expect to see incredible sunrises and sunsets with no light pollution to obstruct your view!

Inside, the eclectic decor will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the 1970s.

A mishmash of items ranging from a foosball table to a classic arcade console gives the space its unique charm and makes guests never want to leave. The real rock walls are just the icing on the cake!

Although relatively intimate, the cave can accommodate up to six people.

It has a private bedroom, as well as additional sleeping space in the form of a single bed, a sofa bed, a couch and a floor mattress in the living room.

Guests will also enjoy a lavishly decorated private bathroom fully stocked with everything needed for a spa-like experience.

Other amenities include a kitchen with all basic appliances (plus free snacks!) as well as an indoor gas fireplace and multiple fans.

Since you’ll be locked in the cave for most of your stay (you won’t want to drive back down the dirt road into town), the hosts provide a variety of entertainment options. With a TV and Wi-Fi, books, piano, record player and even a table tennis table, there’s plenty to keep you busy.

Take to the air and fire up the grill to prep dinner or roast marshmallows while taking in the stunning desert views.

You’ll also be able to see tons of old mining equipment on the property, including an actual 1890s stamp mill.
