This is the shocking moment when a high-speed car got out of control after being cut off by another vehicle, resulting in a stack of four cars.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene of the massive collision, where a man and woman were treated for chest injuries.

The incident took place in Blackpool, Lancashire on Thursday July 29.

The viral images of the crash have since sparked public anger, with questions about how fast the car in the center of the collision was moving.

In the video, taken from CCTV, a white car is preparing to turn right into a side road when a blue Ford Fiesta suddenly appears.

The car crosses the crossing but its rear end is cut off by the white vehicle, and it is sent into a huge skid.

The blue Fiesta then skids down the road before cramming into a parked vehicle, then turning around to hit two more cars.

A Lancashire Police spokesperson said at the time: ‘We were called at around 12.55pm (Thursday 29th July) to report a four vehicle collision in Ashfield Road, Blackpool.

“Emergency services attended the scene with a man and a woman with chest injuries.

It is understood that no arrests have been made. MailOnline has contacted the police.

It is not known how fast the Fiesta was moving when it lost control, but the scene angered locals.
