The American firm Seyfarth accelerates its European expansion with a team of three lawyers in Milan

Seyfarth Shaw has added a team of three lawyers led by a partner in Milan, the latest in a series of recent hires by the employment law giant in its global footprint.

Sofia Bargellini joins the firm’s International department as a partner. Previously, she practiced at the medium-sized Italian firm SZA Studio Legale, where she was a partner in its labor and labor law department in Milan.

Joining Bargellini from SZA are associates Tommaso Raco and Claudia Di Biase.

The team will remain in Milan, although Seyfarth does not have an office there. They will be attached to the firm’s office in London.

The team’s practice focuses on advising on Italian labor law for international clients, including complex cases and industrial relations matters, social insurance relations and litigation.

Bargellini is the latest partner to join Seyfarth’s global platform.
