“The boys” are back in town! The third season of “The Boys” kicks off its eight-episode run TODAY, June 3with the first three available to stream now on First video. They will be followed by an additional episode each following Friday, ending with the season finale on Friday, July 8.
“The Boys” (based on the best-selling comics of Garth Ennis and darick robertson) puts a bold, fresh, and gory new spin on the superhero genre, centering on a group of vigilantes who set out to defeat corrupt superheroes. The series is from a team including the showrunner Eric Kripke, Seth Rogenand Evan Goldberg. The third season continues the series of loud and cynical superhero mayhem with a darker twist and some new faces (our opinion).
Ahead of the premiere, Bloody Disgusting chatted with Kripke about how he implements gore in season three, leading to a discussion of his gore mission statement and the lesson “Supernatural” taught him by predicting how many seasons his shows will run. would have.
