The pretty Winnie the Pooh-inspired Airbnb house hidden in a wood an hour from London

With summer well over and the fall vibes here in abundance, many families will be planning country walks with their little ones – and one place in particular is sure to capture their imaginations.

Located in beautiful Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, just an hour and a half from London, this airbnb retreat is perfect for Winnie the Pooh fans.

Modeled after Winnie’s actual home in the books, the vacation spot is also usefully set in the same woods that would have been the inspiration for the Hundred Acre woods.

Customers can expect cupboards full of ‘pig jars’, a strict house rule of ‘no heffalumps’, games of Poohsticks and of course plenty of pig inspired meals. according to MirrorOnline.

Other perks for guests will include a guided tour of the picture-perfect woods, including playing Poohsticks on the iconic Poohsticks Bridge, and plenty of Winnie the Pooh-themed goodies to enjoy.

The “Bearbnb” can accommodate up to four people, although there are important rules such as being encouraged to have a “little something” snack at 11 am, take several naps and no other pets. as Roos, Tigers, Eeyes and Piglets and Bears.

The fairytale-like home is built with exposed tree branches and stylish interiors, including custom-made wallpaper by Disney-named Winnie the Pooh illustrator Kim Raymond.

In fact, Kim will be Airbnb’s “official” host, having hosted the Bearbnb after drawing the iconic bear for over 30 years.

He said of this exciting adventure: “I have been portraying Winnie the Pooh for 30 years and continue to be inspired by classic EH Shepard decorations and more recent Disney stories. The ‘Bearbnb’ is a a unique experience that brings the charm of Pooh to life for fans, while honoring the original adventures that have been so important to so many for 95 years. “

The wooded retreat has a double bed and two single beds on the mezzanine. Groups can include one adult and up to three children.

The new Airbnb stay is part of Disney’s 95th birthday celebrations for the adorable children’s character, and prices are £ 95 a night.
